The JA Finance Park program helps middle and high school students build a foundation for making intelligent personal finance decisions. Educators deliver the curriculum in their classrooms using one of two distinct levels: Entry and Advanced, each tailored to meet the needs of middle and high school students.

 

JA Finance Park then culminates in a virtual interactive budgeting and career exploration simulation. The in-class learning comes to life through four simulation phases: Setup & Savings, Research, Budget, Shopping & Payment. With a more personal focus, the Advanced level simulation goes a step further by having students select their career and set future lifestyle and financial goals allowing them to see the long-term impact of their education, savings, and credit decisions.

 

JA Finance Park students will also benefit from two locally developed career exploration resources: the online JA Here to Career^TM and the printed JA Career Exploration Guide. These comprehensive resources prepare today's young people for tomorrow's jobs by connecting them with regional career opportunities that match their individual personality, skills, and interests which allows them to map a path to future success.
